You will be astounded by the many uses of baking soda. This inexpensive, natural and non-toxic ingredient will wow you with what it can do. It neutralizes acids, deodorizes and effectively cleans practically anything. Here are some of its’ greatest uses.

Whiten Teeth

Dip your toothbrush into some baking soda and watch it scrub away stubborn coffee and tea stains with its natural abrasive qualities.

Relieve Heart Burn

Baking Soda is a safe antacid. Add 1/2 teaspoon to 1/2 glass of water and drink it down.  You can add a pinch of baking soda to tomato dishes to cut the heart burn.

Give yourself a pedicure by dissolving 3 tablespoons of baking soda in a tub of warm water. Soak your feet for 5 minutes, then gentle scrub with a washcloth.

Remove Residue From Styling Products In Your Hair 

Get softer, more manageable hair when you remove the residue that your products have left behind. Sprinkle some baking soda into your palm with your regular shampoo  and rinse throroughly. Your hair will shine beautifully.

Cleaner Laundry

Freshen up funky towels or gym socks by adding 1/2 cup of baking soda to your laundry with your normal laundry detergent. Add another 1/2 cup at the beginning of the rinse cycle.

No need for sweaty elbow grease when you add a generous amount of baking soda, dish soap and hot water to the sink. Let the baked-on pots and pans soak for fifteen minutes and then wash them easily.

Clean Away Tough Coffee Stains 

Fill up coffee maker carafes with 1/4 cup baking soda and warm water and let it soak over night.  The caked on coffee stains will disappear with a wipe of a damp sponge.
