Looking for an easy DIY gift for that tea-lover in your life? Check out this really easy Christmas Tea Tree! This project only requires a few items, and in the long run will cost you only a few dollars per tree. They make perfect gifts and perfect centerpieces for a Christmas brunch or breakfast.

What you’ll need:

Styrofoam Cones
Individually wrapped tea bags
A glue gun and glue sticks
Small paper mache boxes
Wooden Stars or other trinkets
Rice (optional)

How to:

Glue the tea bags starting at the base of your cone. Place a thin line of glue along the upper edge of the back of the tea bag, then attach it right on the cone. Hold the bag as the glue sets.

When you glue the next tea bag, slightly overlap it over the one that was glued on before, so that the cone is covered. Finish the entire base of the cone before moving upwards, then repeat until you reach the top.

Attach the top of the paper mache box to the base of the cone using your glue.

Add rice to your box for more stability, then use the glue to seal the top of the box to the bottom.

Attach a wooden star to the top using your hot glue and you’re done!

To use: Carefully rip the tea bags off the tree and enjoy!
