How-To
1. Using freshly culled or store bought pine cones, start from the base and wrap the core of each pine cone with flat braided wick, tying it at the top with a loop.
2. Melt wax in a double boiler system then add color dye and fragrance as desired, and stir.
3. Dip each pine cone in wax and let cool long enough to congeal. Repeat 3-4 times to build up desired amount of wax.
4. Personalize your pine cones with tags & twine for gifting (optional)

Wick, Dip, Cool & Repeat

Pine cones make great fire-starters naturally. But when dipped in wax, they catch flame quickly and burn hot for any fireplace, bonfire or wood-burning stove. Plus with added herbs or candle fragrance, they look great on any mantle & make your home smell amazing. Prepare these little firebombs as a perfect decor idea, DIY gift or even a winter wedding favour.
