Get your craft on and make your own Christmas cards. Nobody will believe you made them yourself! Get creative with these techniques and ideas and get inspired.

If you don’t have a sewing machine, you could stitch these up in minutes. Use a stamp or go ahead and practice your best handwriting.

If you loved finger painting as a kid, or have a couple little hands eager to participate, these strings of lights are fun and easy to make.

I love this idea. I will use small twigs and gold star stickers to make mine. I have a few ribbons that will work. This is a great way to use up any ribbon scraps if you keep them.

Buttons make great ornaments but this holly idea is adorable! If you have a collection of buttons, cards are a great way to use them up.

Little hands love helping with punching and there are never too many! I make extra and add them inside the card with a little glitter for a fun confetti surprise when it’s opened.

This card is extremely easy to make. And who doesn’t love googly eyes! Make sure to have 8 regular reindeer eyes, and a red nose for the 9th, very special reindeer.

I have made button Christmas Tree cards before, but they get quite heavy so this idea is perfect. Add interest to your tree with more colors and textures.

I love using up scraps and this card uses a minimal amount of paper and string which is perfect for the odds and ends from other crafts.

The natural twig is my favorite thing about this card. Have fun creating different color combinations and use up scraps from paper, gift wrap, magazines, and more!

Although I tend to be a perfectionist, I like the imperfect shape for the top of the baubles on this card. Another great use of scrap paper leftover from other crafts. And using your own handwriting is a great personal touch.
