Ladies, you know the struggle when it comes to loosing bobby pins and hair ties. In my quest to get more organized in 2016 I stumbled upon this adorable bobby pin storage idea.
I’m a tic-tac lover so I don’t know how I didn’t think of this sooner! I’m having a “why didn’t I think of that” moment right now!
Tic Tac case (regular or jumbo)
Gold spray paint
Gold craft paint or liquid gilding
First, enjoy your Tic Tacs! Then, remove outside wrapper and clean out container. Next, use the end of the dowel to dip in your gold paint and gently touch it to the plastic to make a polka dot pattern.
Then, in a well-ventilated area, spray paint the lid of the pack gold. Let sit over night to cure. Once all pieces are dry, gather your bobby pins and store them in the bottom of the pack. When you need one, just open the tab where you would shake out a mint and shake out a bobby pin instead!
You work too hard for your money to throw it all away on full price when you don't have to!
