Making festive snacks is a great way to avoid the monotony of every food prep. Test out these turkey snacks of your nearest and dearest this Thanksgiving.

If you’re travelling to spend the holiday with family, pack up a few Turkey Snack Bags for the kids. The possibilities are endless for items to tuck into the fingers of the gloves and popcorn is a great snack without all the sugar of conventional snacks.

Turkey Pretzels are a fun snack for the kids to help make and they won’t mind gobbling them up either! These are made with peanut butter but I’ve seen them made with chocolate too if you feel like spoiling someone this Thanksgiving.

If you’re trying to get your kids to eat more veggies, get creative and turn them into Veggie Turkeys. Using assorted peppers, cucumber, zucchini, and carrots to add to the colorful fall look and hopefully your little ones won’t think twice about eating them up.

Netting is an inexpensive way to make Turkey Candy Favors. Mix up some fall candies into a net and add adorable pipe cleaner turkey legs and heads.

These Turkey Cupcakes won’t take much extra effort but will make a huge impact. Kids can help decorate them too.

I love this Turkey Sandwich plate. I like to serve this with veggies and dip or fruit and yogurt. If your kids like being creative then you can turn it into an art project for them  before they gobble it all up.

These adorable Turkey Pudding Cups are a sweet snack my kids can’y get enough of. I like to make mine with yogurt cups but they prefer the pudding of course. It’s all about balance and compromise.

When the kids get involved snacking is even more fun! Slice a piece of a cheese round and let the kids decorate their own little Cheesy Turkey Snacks. This is a delicious snack and the kids will love decorating their own.

Candy Turkey Cookies have most of the food groups, right? My kids think candy corn is hilarious so they’ll enjoy making these little birds and try to stand them up. When snack time meets play time, everyone wins.

Everybody loves Krispie Treats and this special Thanksgiving edition is no exception. Have the kids help with treat that won’t risk burning little fingers with the oven. They’ll love decorating their own little turkeys.

All this talk about turkey has made me hungry! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving from all of us at WomanFreebies.
