February… the month of love! Whether you’re alone with a tub of ice cream or spending it with your sweetheart, a good romance movie is always welcome on Valentine’s Day! Here are my favorite romance/rom-com movie that I love to watch during the month of February. Enjoy!
1. About Time (2013)
At the age of 21, Tim discovers he can travel in time and change what happens and has happened in his own life. His decision to make his world a better place by getting a girlfriend turns out not to be as easy as you might think.
2. Sleepless In Seattle (1992)
Sam is a recent widower who is seeking someone new. Sam’s son Jonah, is also looking for a new mother, so when Jonah puts his father on national radio, hundreds of women write to him. One of the women is Annie. She’s engaged to Walter, but he’s a bit strange. Annie goes to great lengths to meet Sam.
3. The Notebook (2004)
A poor and passionate young man falls in love with a rich young woman and gives her a sense of freedom. They soon are separated by their social differences.
4. The Lake House (2006)

5. The Time Traveler’s Wife (2009)
When Henry DeTamble meets Clare Abshire in a Chicago library they both understand that he is a time traveler, but she knows much more about him as he has not yet been to the times and places where they have already met. He falls in love with her, as she has already with him, but his continuing unavoidable absences while time traveling – and then returning with increasing knowledge of their future – makes things ever more difficult for Clare.
6. Something Borrowed (2011)
Rachel and Darcy have been best friends since childhood. Darcy is about to get married with Dex, who studied with Rachel in law school. On Rachel’s birthday, Rachel and Dex discover they both had a crush on each other in law school. Rachel now has to choose between her best friend and the love of her life.
7. The Princess Bride (1987)

Sam Wheat was murdered during a date with his girlfriend Molly. Sam’s spirit, in a mysterious manner, remains on the Earth, unseen to normal people. After following his murderer, Sam realizes that his death was not an accident, and that molly is in danger. Sam’s ghost try to warn Molly, but she does not know it is really there. Then he meets a spiritualist named Oda Mae Brown, who can hear the dead. Sam speaks to hear and convince her to help him save Molly.
